Mike is excited to announce that he has been selected as the national “Traveling Trainer” for the California Academy’s Science Action Club (SAC) expansion, in collaboration with the National Girls Collaborative Project. SAC is a nationwide STEM program for middle school youth in out-of-school time. As the national trainer,
Mike is heading to San Francisco to be trained at the Cal Academy of the Sciences on their Science Action Clubs: Birds In Your Schoolyard curriculum. He’ll be bringing it back to train groups across New Jersey, and as requested nationally.
Mike has partnered with the National Girls Collaborative Project to offer free environmental science programming and professional development (valued at over $4,000!) to up to 15 programs in NJ that serve grades 4-8th. More information.
