Mike is excited to announce that he has been selected as the national “Traveling Trainer” for the California Academy’s Science Action Club (SAC) expansion, in collaboration with the National Girls Collaborative Project. We are excited to be leading a SciGirls training at the LEAP Academy Charter School in Camden, NJ. SciGirls is a nationally recognized set of curricula and support materials proven to engage girls in STEM, and to help educators and families support them as they explore these topics. Mike is heading to San Francisco to be trained at the Cal Academy of the Sciences on their Science Action Clubs: Birds In Your Schoolyard curriculum. He’ll be bringing it back to train groups across New Jersey, and as requested nationally.
Mike is proud and excited to be partnering with the Franklin Institute to develop this summer’s GSK Science in the Summer™ program, a nationwide summer program providing STEM opportunities to youth in grades 2 through 6.
